First Post

              Hello there, this is my first post to my blog soshlism. I created this blog a few months or a year before. But I was not much interested in adding contents to this blog. You know, I am very lazy :) . 

              Few days before, two of my friends started blogging. They asked me to check out their blogs. It is their blogs (#See the world and thehardandeasylife) that inspired me to restart my blog.

              I have created a few pages - Canvas, FOSS, reViews and BraveHearts. Canvas is for sharing  my photographs. FOSS, as the name suggest, is all about free and open source softwares. In reViews, i would like to write about movie and product reviews. I dedicate BraveHearts page for supporting the Indian Armed Forces. It will contain news about Indian army which i collect from Fb and other websites.

How to theme a Linux Desktop Environment easily

If you are a linux based OS user, there is a chance that you might not like the look of your windows or the icons the OS comes with. You wanted to change it but sometimes it might get too technical and you may end up breaking stuffs. Here is a way you can install themes or icons a click away. By the way, I am using gnome desktop environment for below steps. Somethings might change for other environments. 1. Go to pling.com and download the pling-store AppImage file. 2. Right click the AppImage -> properties -> Permissions -> Allow executing File as a program. Now double click the appimage file to run it. 3. You can download/install a lot of things other than themes and icons from here. I am going to choose 'gnome' from the list to get options related to my desktop environment. 4. "Keep running. Don't look back" I cried. I dont know whether he heard that. He started to slow down. "I can't run anym..." he couldn't complete it. A  large animal jumped on him. It has grown bigger and stronger. Before i could do anything, that animal killed him.     This animal was chasing us for a longtime. Tony and I were childhood friends. We grew up together.
